Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar and Operations Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth, efficient, and exceptional operation of our bar and restaurant services. Duties

  • Lead and supervise all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to uphold quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Train and develop staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements across all areas of operation.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for food production, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Monitor customer feedback actively to address concerns promptly and improve overall service quality.
  • Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling costs related to food, beverage, labor, and supplies while maximizing revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles within fast-paced environments such as quick service or casual dining restaurants.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, interviewing skills, and shift oversight.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward excellence.
  • Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements in the food industry.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
