Bar Person

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily management of food & beverage operations within the Clubhouse & Castle
• Ensure effective communication of the event details to all other departments within the resort and any other relevant information.
• Be knowledgeable of company purchasing procedures and product availability to maximize product quality and cost saving opportunities.
• Ensure that all food and beverage equipment is regularly maintained and kept in good order.
• Ensure that all bars, restaurants and function rooms are clean and presentable for show arounds.
• Implement within the department, the Resorts, health and safety procedures.
• Support all private functions, weddings, conferences, banqueting & events at the Castle and clubhouse.
• Ensure the POS terminals have all the updated products, menus and pricing
• Manage the monthly beverage stock take and analyse results.
• Ensure efficient stock management and rotation.
• Monitor the beverage costs ensuring prices are in line with competitors and are amended as required.

Requirements:

• Must be a self-starter, with a positive attitude and good communication skills with fluent English.
• Available to work early and late shifts both midweek and weekend.
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years relative experience in a restaurant, hotel or golf resort.
• Highly organised, strong team player and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
