About the role
VIP Cuts is growing. We are looking for 2 x experienced barber to deliver quality grooming services across our Canterbury stores. You will provide consistent cuts and shaves, great service, and help keep the shop running smoothly.

Key duties

• Cut, style and finish hair (scissor/clipper, fades, taper, blow-dry and finish)
• Beard trims, hot-towel shaves and razor line-ups
• Colour services, straightening and perm/texture services (as required)
• Treat hair and scalp conditions; shampoo and conditioning services
• Consult with clients and provide aftercare/product advice
• Maintain strict hygiene and sterilisation of tools and stations
• Manage appointments and walk-ins; operate POS and handle cash/EFTPOS
• Merchandise retail products and contribute to shop presentation
• Support training/mentoring of junior barbers when required

What you’ll bring

• At least 1 year of professional relevant experience or level 4 relevant qualifications.
• Strong fade and beard work with excellent attention to detail
• Good client communication and time management
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working weekends and late nights as rostered
