Barista & Cashier

The Barista & Cashier is responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience while preparing beverages, handling transactions, and supporting daily café operations in a fast-paced environment. This role combines customer service, beverage preparation, food handling, and front-of-house support while maintaining company standards in service, cleanliness, and presentation.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, organized, and passionate about hospitality and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Operate POS system and accurately process cash and card transactions
• Assist guests with menu questions and product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house, beverage stations, and dining areas
• Restock pastries, beverages, retail items, and supplies throughout shifts
• Support with light food prep and packaging as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning procedures
• Work collaboratively with bakery, kitchen, and front-of-house teams

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Previous café, coffee, cashier, bakery, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
