Responsibilities

• Lead daily café operations during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient workflow
• Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance on food preparation, serving, and cash handling procedures
• Oversee food safety protocols, including proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards
• Support cash handling responsibilities with basic math skills for register balancing and cash reconciliation
• Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety policies to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and customers
• Assist with training new team members on POS systems, customer service techniques, and food industry best practices

Experience

• Previous barista experience (preferably Starbucks) with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and café operations
• Proven leadership skills or prior experience as a shift supervisor or team lead in a retail or food service setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, serving techniques, and retail math calculations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Strong customer service background with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally
• Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
