Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our café team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer interaction will help enhance the overall experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout process for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Assist with food preparation and handling, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist in restocking as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or food industry setting is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
