Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cashier/Barista to join our team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our customers while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving high-quality beverages, managing customer orders, and ensuring the cleanliness of the workspace. We would love to hear from you if you have an interest in coffee, matcha, and/or tea.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and teas with precision and care.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. This includes sugar levels, lactose intolerance, and allergens.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels such as ingredients and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and experience in the food service or food industry is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate cash registers and manage cash handling procedures effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality beverage preparation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
