Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our dynamic café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service while crafting high-quality beverages and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items while adhering to food safety standards.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Uphold café standards for quality control in food handling and beverage preparation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems; basic understanding of retail math is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help teammates as well as customers.
• Must adhere to food safety guidelines and practices.
