Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks to ensure quick service during busy hours.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple duties while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
• Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and retail math accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
