Barista / Front of House Staff – New Café Opening in Bayswater VIC 3153
Casual Position – Start Mid August

Are you a passionate, energetic, and customer-focused individual looking to be part of an exciting new café opening?
We are currently seeking an experienced Barista / Front of House Staff member to join the launch team of a brand-new café/Restaurant in Bayswater VIC 3153. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the customer experience and grow with a new business from day one.

What We Offer:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of high-quality coffee beverages
• Maintain consistency and quality in every cup
• Adjust and correct coffee machine and grinder settings as required
• Confidently make all types of espresso coffee
• Produce high-quality coffee with Latte Art
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures for the coffee machine
• Deliver food and beverages to tables, clear and reset tables
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the front-of-house area
• Collaborate with team members to help establish smooth and efficient operations

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barista in a busy café or restaurant
• Strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines
• Experience with espresso machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Passion for coffee and a strong focus on customer service
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team player mindset
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Valid working rights in Australia are essential
