Barista/Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant food service setting, providing memorable experiences for our customers while honing your skills in food preparation and customer interaction. Must have open availability for Daytime, evening & weekends. Must have Smart Serve. Unfortunately at this time this position is not for high school students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Manage food and beverage orders efficiently to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food handling areas
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer inquiries about products
• Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service throughout each shift
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with basic food preparation when required
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality in all aspects of service

Skills

• Previous Barista experience or Serving in the food industry is preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with serving, food preparation, and general food service operations
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
