Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. A strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with excellent time management skills, is essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment. The bartender will also handle cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining food safety standards and a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash handling with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining professionalism.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and comply with alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the venue, especially during high-volume periods like nightclub nights or large events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in sales, serving, cashiering, and basic math including retail math and hospitality math calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus.
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience with brewing or beverage preparation is advantageous.
• Must be at least 21years old and able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
