Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role requires excellent time management skills and proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. As a bartender, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently managing drink orders and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, recommending drinks, and handling payments with cash handling skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage multiple drink orders during busy periods through effective time management
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service, catering, or banquet events when necessary
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ensure guest safety at all times
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or shifts

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments
• Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus
• Experience in the food industry, hospitality, brewing, catering, or retail math is advantageous
• Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for creating an inviting atmosphere for guests
