Bartender

Join our bar team at Dockers.

We’re looking for motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic bartenders to join our fast-paced and friendly team. While experience behind the bar is important, we’re most interested in people with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Essential Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

To maintain our high standards of service, we have two non-negotiable requirements for this role.

If you do NOT meet both of the following, your application will NOT be considered:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional bartending experience.
• Local Knowledge: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a bar or pub specifically within Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and draught beer to a high standard.
• Provide friendly, professional, and engaging service to guests at the bar.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the drinks menu, ingredients, and procedures.
• Keep the bar area clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Cocktail knowledge is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• High standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.
• A team player with a willingness to learn and improve their skills.
• Smart appearance and adherence to dress code standards.

Please note: Applicants holding a Student Visa (Stamp 2) will be offered part-time hours only, strictly in line with Irish visa work entitlements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €15.50-€17.50 per hour
