Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service within fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role requires a personable individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing bar operations. Prior experience with POS systems like Toast is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order entry and cash handling
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and promoting drink specials
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure smooth service flow
  • Uphold food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation in accordance with health regulations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, including brewing techniques if applicable
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips accurately
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in fine dining or hospitality industries is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety practices related to food handling and serving alcohol
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the venue’s schedule

Pay: $24.00 - $28.90 per hour
