Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Tap Room has been located in historic downtown Leesburg, Florida going on 9 years. We offer a unique Chicago/Firefighter themed experience. With a selection of our own brewed beers and delicious food and pizza options reminiscent of the Windy City, we aim to create a fun and friendly atmosphere for all.

Summary

We are looking for a passionate and outgoing Server/ Bartender to join our team at Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Tap Room in Leesburg, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, pouring our hand crafted beers, taking orders and serving food, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the lively atmosphere of our dining room. Our servers /bartenders average over $25 per hour in pay and tips. Applicants should understand that new customers are equally as important as our regulars. Everyone is important! That you must leave your attitude at home. Our customers are why we are still here after 9 years in business. Our newest team member has worked for us for over 7 years. We have an amazing manager, so I am not looking for a person to take control. I am looking for someone who can fit in and be a team player and work well with others. Our team and our customers are our family.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including our house-brewed beers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the Clover Point of Sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience and recommend menu items and our different hand crafted beers.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous bartending / server experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong knowledge of brewing processes is a plus.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
