Job Summary

Plaza Heights Christian Academy is seeking a caring and responsible Before School Care Teacher to supervise and engage students in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment outside of regular school hours. This role includes overseeing students before school begins and ensuring student safety at all times. The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient, and passionate about working with children while upholding the school's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students during before school hours.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment.

• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
• Support students with homework and promote positive behavior.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is preferred.
• A heart for Christian education and student development.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
