Summary:
The Benefits Administration Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of United States (US) employee health and welfare benefits programs. This role involves processing benefit enrollments and updates as well as maintaining accurate records and providing support to employees with benefits-related inquiries. The Benefits Administration Coordinator will work closely with the US-based Benefits team to ensure the smooth operation of benefits programs and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, Provide timely resolution of Tier 1 benefits inquiries for employees via email and ticket system
- Process benefit transactions (i.e., enrollments, life events, terminations, beneficiary changes, etc.) in the HRIS system for health and welfare plans
- Complete daily or weekly assigned tasks (i.e. monthly invoices, new hire activities, data and system updates, etc.)
- Methodical in maintaining employee records to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Fix complex data errors associated with carrier file feeds and API
- Collect and verify dependent verification documents
- Respond timely to data requests
- Work with payroll and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deductions, arrears, and refunds
- Maintain an understanding of US benefits rules and regulations
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion with all available data
Requirements:
- Education background required - Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of US benefits administration OR 3 years’ experience in US benefits administration
- Minimum required experience - 1 year experience in US benefits administration
- Expertise in the field and skills / competency requirements - Excel formulas, US benefits
- Other preferences - UKG and ADP experience
- Any specific background checks / requirements - Yes, criminal background check – must be able to work with HIPAA protected data (standard MSG background screen)
- Must be willing to work in the office at Bridgetowne, Quezon City
- Must be willing to work during US time zone
