Bilingual Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

  • Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and verifying insurance information in both languages.
  • Measure vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes clearly in their preferred language and ensuring understanding.
  • Support clinical staff with procedures .
  • Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures.
  • Fine motor skills required for removing sutures, drawing up injections, bandaging wounds, and operating equipment such as computer, copier, scanner, etc
  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients.

Experience :

  • Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience required (specialty experience preferred)
  • Prior experience in a vascular, surgical, cardiology, or specialty clinic strongly preferred
  • Experience assisting providers with clinical procedures, wound care, and sterile technique
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR documentation and patient chart management
  • Experience supporting patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with providers and staff
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
