We are expanding and seeking an experienced BIM Technician (Structural/Architectural) to support our growing team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled BIM Technician with experience in Structural / Architectural projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise, a strong understanding of construction and design, and a proactive approach to project delivery across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain accurate 3D models of construction project.
· Produce detailed drawings from BIM models and assist in design processes.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
· Coordinate model data and integrate with team members to support construction and design.
· Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure model accuracy and compliance.
· Conduct interference detections to mitigate design and construction issues.
· Work with BIM data library and.
· Stay current on BIM technology trends and their application in construction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Technical degree or drafting technician diploma (or equivalent experience).
· Strong understanding of BIM, with expertise in architectural and engineering drafting.
· Proficient in Autodesk AEC collection (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Risa).
· Proficient with Microsoft Office; Bluebeam experience is an asset.
· At least 5 years of experience in BIM construction.
