· As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care through the effective management of medical devices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and ensure equipment functionality.

Calibration and Testing

• Perform calibration and testing of medical devices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed records of calibration activities and equipment status.

Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with medical equipment, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective solutions. Provide timely response to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

Training and Support

• Provide training and support to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment. Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale of medical equipment.

Presentation

• Product knowledge and demonstration to clients.
• Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical/certificate course on BIOMED from a TESDA accredited institution.
• With TESDA Biomedical Equipment Servicing NCII.
• Awareness of workplace occupational hazards and infection control protocols.
• Proper handling and care for Biomedical Equipment.
• Knowledge of the Center’s roster of Biomedical Equipment.
• Understanding of Biomedical Equipment function and repair.
• At least one to two (1-2) years’ experience as BIOMED Technician.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay
• Performance bonus
