Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused BMW Service Advisor to join our high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive service operations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role serves as the critical connection between our clients and our service technicians, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and conduct thorough consultations to accurately assess vehicle service needs, concerns, and priorities
  • Communicate recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly, providing detailed explanations of work required, pricing, timelines, and value
  • Prepare accurate service estimates, including parts, labor, tax, and applicable discounts or warranty coverage
  • Submit comprehensive work orders to technicians, ensuring all customer concerns and service requirements are clearly documented
  • Coordinate closely with technicians throughout the repair process, providing customers with proactive updates on service progress and any additional findings
  • Educate customers on warranty protections, maintenance schedules, costsaving opportunities, and the benefits of genuine BMW parts and service
  • Provide expert guidance on vehicle care decisions, including the value of repairs versus vehicle replacement options when appropriate
  • Process service payments accurately and explain all charges clearly to ensure complete customer understanding and satisfaction
  • Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and build lasting relationships
  • Achieve and exceed Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores through exceptional service delivery and attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, service recommendations, and completed work in dealership management systems
  • Stay current on BMW product knowledge, including vehicle features, specifications, service requirements, and competitive comparisons
  • Collaborate seamlessly with service technicians, parts department, and management to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to recommend additional services that enhance vehicle performance, safety, and longevity
  • Handle customer concerns professionally, working to resolve issues and turn challenges into opportunities for exceptional service
  • Represent the BMW brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity in every customer interaction

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Exceptional customer service skills with track record of delivering satisfaction
  • Strong communication abilities across all formats (verbal, written, digital)
  • Professional presentation and demeanor befitting a luxury brand
  • Selfmotivated with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including Saturdays as required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Strongly Preferred:

  • 35 years in automotive dealership service advising environments
  • Experience in luxury dealership operations
  • Understanding of automotive systems, service operations, and repair processes
  • Proficiency with CDK, MyKaarma, TSD, Xtime and BMW software systems
  • Previous experience in a BMW Dealership Service Advisor role
