Step into a dynamic 12-month hybrid contract bookkeeping role with Deloitte’s Turnaround & Restructuring team, where you'll work closely with a tight-knit group of professionals to manage complex insolvency cases. From supporting Partners to ensuring smooth operations and compliance, you'll play a key role in driving impactful financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry Management: Update information and transactions using insolvency software Turnkey IPS.
Banking Operations: Process payments as required for insolvency cases and regularly review and reconcile bank transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
Compliance: Prepare and lodge BAS returns, statutory compliance forms with ASIC and additional reporting as required.
Support: Assist professional staff with ad hoc inquiries relating to insolvency cases and the above tasks.
Collaborate with team members: Work closely with engagement teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Experience: Background in Bookkeeping or Accounting.
Accounting Knowledge: An understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices and insolvency is desirable.
Organisation: Highly organised and proactive, with an eye for detail.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Turnkey Insolvency Practitioner System (IPS) is advantageous but not essential.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Professionalism: Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate ethical behaviour consistently.
