We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations by managing administrative tasks and assisting with accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. If you are organized, efficient, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bookkeeping duties including account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Houzz pro for financial reporting
- Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting activities
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed for management review
- Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills for effective account analysis and budgeting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
