We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations by managing administrative tasks and assisting with accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. If you are organized, efficient, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bookkeeping duties including account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Houzz pro for financial reporting
  • Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting activities
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed for management review
  • Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors in a professional manner

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills for effective account analysis and budgeting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
