COMPANY DESCRIPTION: THE KENDALL CONSTRUCTION GROUP owns Kendall Design Build and Hearth and Home Handyman Services and is a dynamic, woman-owned home renovation and construction firm, located in Royal Oak MI. We manage all facets of residential construction, and occasionally commercial work, in our projects including interior and exterior design.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The person in this position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer at the Kendall Construction Group. As the Bookkeeper/Accountant and Office Administrator, this person will be responsible for supporting all facets of accounting, including accounts receivable and payable, and material/budget reconciliations. This person will be responsible for tracking material deliveries and will have some additional administrative responsibilities that can cross over into project management/design assistance and general office support.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping/accounting
· Experience with Quickbooks and Docusign
· Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
· Strong organizational skills and problem solving ability
· Communication skills and ability
· Ability to learn additional software programs
· Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as in part of a team
· Basic understanding of residential construction terms, materials, process is not required but a plus
COMPENSATION
· Pay - $28-32/hr exempt status based on experience– Full Time
· 2 weeks of paid PTO -eligibility starts after 6 months
