Branch Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity?

We are now looking for an energetic, proactive person to join our maintenance team at Alsco Uniforms in a Fixed Term Capacity.

Alsco is a global company and leader in textile rental services worldwide. We have an industrial processing laundry plant operation in Christchurch.

In this role, you will be expected to take a hands-on approach, confidently managing and prioritizing a variety of maintenance tasks as they arise. Your ability to contribute actively to technical challenges and deliver effective solutions will be key to the smooth operation of our facility.

Ideally, the successful applicant would have experience in

• Maintenance Engineering field
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Fault finding and resolving issues on production plant equipment
• Good Communication skills
• An understanding of steam operations
• Computer literate
• Have a positive and can-do attitude.

This position is a Fixed Term Position, covering a 6 month period from January 2026, there may be an opportunity to extend. Alsco offers a great career opportunity in a unique production industry that has a wide range of plant equipment.
