Breakfast Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas after use.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and best practices.
• Adapt to changing menus or dietary restrictions while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cook or food preparation role within the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are important.
• A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
