Breakfast Restaurant Server/Starbucks Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast Restaurant Server at Doubletree by Hilton Kitchen that can also train for part time Starbucks Barista to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment, preparing and serving coffee, breakfast items, and other beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or coffee industry settings, possess strong multitasking skills, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, breakfast items, and light food offerings with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling
• Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food safety and food handling standards
• Manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously while ensuring timely service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation when required
• Uphold food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth daily operations

Skills

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving or food service roles in cafés or restaurants
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members seamlessly
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
