Breakfast Supervisor

We have a great opportunity for a Breakfast Supervisor to join our Hobson's Restaurant team here at Tower Hotel Waterford.

The Tower Hotel is Waterford's premier 4-star city centre hotel and is superbly located overlooking the Marina and Reginald's Tower. The hotel is just a 3-minute stroll from the city's shopping and entertainment hot spots, and the premier business district.

The role:

You will be accountable for the smooth and effective running of all aspects of food service for breakfast, breakfast room service, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner set-up. Ensuring at all times that the guest experience is of the highest standard of efficiency, professionalism and friendliness and at all times anticipating their needs.

The Candidate:

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience essential, candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Flexible to work both mid-week and weekend shifts.
• Supervise and coordinate breakfast, and on occasion, lunch service in a 150-seater restaurant, catering for up to 350 guests.
• Oversee buffet setup, presentation, and replenishment, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Manage table allocations, reservations, and guest flow to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and proactive manner.
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate service expectations, special events, and menu changes.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent food preparation.
• To work with the Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Supervisors in achieving the goals and objectives of the Tower Hotel Waterford and in turn the Neville Hotel Group.
• To set and maintain the correct service and product standards within Hobson's Restaurant.
• To attend hotel and departmental meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
• To ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
• To comply with Statutory and policy requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment.
• To report and act on all accidents and hazards.
