Building Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. This part-time to full-time role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks in our apartment units. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing, and general maintenance.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues efficiently
• Assist with facilities upgrades or renovations to improve operational efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
• Experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing would be considered assets
• Ability to perform minor repairs on appliances considered an asset
• Must be able to work as a team
• Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.07-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
