We are looking for a Business Development Administrator who will be part of the Academic Business Development team, the primary purpose will be to support the global Business team in a variety of activities including Book/Journal special sales, Advertising, International rights, Permissions, and third-party content licensing and e-distribution partnerships.

What will you do as a Business Development Administrator?
As a Business Development Administrator, you will provide general administrative support across a range of partnership and sales activities, within the Business Development remit. Your expertise and insights will help improve best-practise for BD processes and workflows to move individual projects forward as needed. With strong attention to detail, you will assist in populating the BD systems, keep the BD data up-to-date, maintain live sales tracking documents, monitor shared mailboxes, and assist with any customer queries, invoicing or reporting as needed.
What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:
- You have at least 1 year of proven administrative experience, ideally in the areas of Business Development, Sales Support or Customer Services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite (particularly Outlook, Excel and Power BI)
- Experience with any relevant systems used by Cambridge (for example, SalesForce, SAP etc.)
- Ability to work on a project independently
