Business Development And Administration Assistant (Business Gradutate)

Brokers Ireland is the leading representative body for Insurance brokers with a combined strength of 1,200 firms representing both general insurance and financial brokers throughout Ireland. Brokers Ireland is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and friendly individual with a Business Degree.

The candidate must have a high working knowledge of Word and Excel (ECDL or equivalent qualifications are required).

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience in the Financial Services is desirable but not necessary.

Key Functions

· Working in conjunction with the Head of Financial Services in relation to new member marketing.

  • Assist potential new members queries. Working closely with potential new members & assisting with any queries to provide a high level of service.
  • Carrying out research and updating management through reports and supporting documentation.
  • Assist the Head of Insurance Services in supporting Insurance Brokers.
  • Assist the Deputy CEO to support Mortgage Broker services.
  • Assist other function heads in providing services to members.
  • Represent Brokers Ireland with Integrity & to the highest standards.
  • Maintaining good knowledge of market issues and keeping up to date with any new developments.
  • Assist and attend meetings and events (sometimes outside normal working hours)

· General menial ad hoc office duties

Starting Salary: €28 – 35k per annum

Term: This is a 12-month contract with a view to be made permanent
