Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, engineering, finance) to ensure client needs are met.
Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals.
Monitor project progress and client satisfaction to ensure long-term partnerships.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and industry regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Existing network of contacts in the construction industry.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.
