Business Development Representative (M/F/D)

As a Business Development Representative (m/f/d), you are the first point of contact for prospective customers and play a key role in determining which companies will choose Shopware in the future.

You identify new business opportunities, actively build your own pipeline, and convert these into qualified sales opportunities for our New Business team. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to our growth in the European eCommerce market.

These are your tasks:

  • You own and actively manage our lead pipeline through outbound activities, building a strong and qualified network in a short time

  • You engage with prospective Mid-Market and Enterprise customers via phone, video calls, and on-site meetings, interacting with senior decision-makers across industries

  • You qualify leads based on clear criteria, turn them into sales opportunities, and collaborate closely with Account Executives as a true partner

  • You maintain and structure lead data in our CRM system (HubSpot)

  • You provide valuable insights to our Marketing team on customer needs, industry trends, and market perception

  • You represent Shopware at trade fairs, events, and within our broader community


What you bring to the table:

  • You are fluent in German and English (business level)

  • You have initial experience in Sales, Business Development, or a similar role (ideally in a SaaS environment)

  • You are not afraid of cold outreach and stay persistent, even after setbacks

  • You communicate clearly, confidently, and on equal footing – including with senior stakeholders

  • You think in solutions and quickly identify business opportunities

  • You work in a structured, agile way and know how to prioritize to achieve your KPIs
