About the Opportunity

Council has an exciting opportunity within our Business Transformation Program (Digital Glenelg) for a business process partner. Based at our Portland office, you will be a key member of the team partnering with staff across the across the business to achieve our vision of becoming a customer-focused 'digital' organisation.

As part of this high performing and supportive team, you will have the ability to collaborate on a range of strategic initiatives. You will enjoy working autonomously and have a high tolerance for working in ambiguity.

Key responsibilities include

  • Coordinate the successful delivery of the strategy implementation workshops ensuring timely and relevant messaging for the program’s stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a business process redesign process to support employee acceptance and adoption of technology.
  • Working closely with staff to ensure they are supported through change and are adequately prepared for business process go-live.
  • Analysing and assessing as-is and to-be business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

What you need to Thrive

  • Passion for helping people bring processes to life by finding the best solution to meets their needs while bringing energy and perseverance to a multi-year project.
  • Experience demonstrable skill in process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitation of workshops and training.
  • Ability to act as a go between for technical staff, consultants and staff.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for enhancement and lead the adoption of technologies and innovation solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively across the whole organisation.
