Butcher/Production Operative

Full time butcher wanted

Exciting opportunity to join a well established, modern butcher shop which has recently undergone a huge renovation. We are looking for an experienced butcher for an immediate start. The applicant should be ambitious, inquisitive, energetic and have a demonstrated history of working on their own initiative in a high intensity environment. Salary of 35k/annum for the right applicant with relevant experience.

Daily duties / requirements

Minimum 1 years experience in a retail butcher shop

Punctual & reliable with excellent time management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Excellent knife skills - boning, cutting and trimming.

Maintaining the pre pack counter display

Working alone and also as a team.

Working on your own initiative on a daily basis.

Stock management - ordering, managing and stock rotation.

Preparing added value products and burger making.

Commitment to operating and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. Including good understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.

Medium and occasionally, heavy lifting.

Ability to fill orders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00 per year
