Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services necessary for our operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of procurement management, and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
• Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Perform root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee supplier management activities, including performance evaluations and relationship building.
• Utilize Oracle EBS systems for tracking orders, managing contracts, and reporting on procurement activities.
• Ensure quality management standards are met throughout the purchasing process.
• Develop and maintain contracts that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, trends, and supplier performance for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in procurement management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations and quality management principles.
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS or similar procurement systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with suppliers.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,424.14 - $65,543.05 per year
