TJ Doyle Fitted Kitchens is a growing bespoke cabinetry company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end kitchens and fitted interiors. We are currently expanding our hardworking, dedicated team and are seeking both experienced professionals and motivated apprentices to join us in Athlone.

Role 1: Experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner / Fitter

We are looking for skilled candidates responsible for crafting and installing high-quality bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and fitted joinery pieces according to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and cutting lists accurately.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and finish timber and sheet materials.
  • Build custom cabinetry, retail fit-out units, and other bespoke joinery items.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and use hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure high standards of finish, quality control, and accuracy..

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cabinet maker, joiner, or fitter in cabinetry manufacturing.
  • Strong woodworking skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  • Practical experience with on-site installation and fitting.
  • Relevant qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery is highly valued.

Role 2: Apprentice Cabinet Maker / Kitchen Fitter

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice to join our team and learn all aspects of the trade alongside experienced craftsmen.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Cabinet making, joinery, and assembly.
  • Safe operation of workshop machinery and hand tools.
  • Premium kitchen fitting and on-site installation.
  • Reading technical drawings and layout plans.
  • High-end finishing techniques and client interaction.
