We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as the CAFÉ ASSISTANT MANAGER of our branch in Dun Laoghaire. This position is definitely for someone with a strong leadership, already experienced in hospitality management, inspired by challenges and who loves to work autonomously.

The position

• Full time
• At least two week-ends per month
• Day shifts only (up to 7pm max)
• 20 annual leave days per year

Your responsibilities

• You take part to all the core tasks (barista, cooking, waitering, cleaning, opening or closing procedure, etc.) with a multitasking mindset
• You lead a team of 2 to 4 people per shift
• You feel comfortable to be in charge of the café when the manager is off duties
• You are able to implement the company's strategy thanks to your great organisational skills
• You are eager to bring him new ideas
• You share the responsibility with the café manager of stock level checks, supplies orders, equipment maintenance, etc.
• You apply and teach to the team all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• You attach a great deal of importance to Cleanliness and Quality Control (quality standards for food and drinks, consistency in taste, dishes presentation, overall customer satisfaction, etc.)

Our place is primarily an elegant French café (Fred is French for real, not just for marketing...) offering authentic and gourmet dishes like sweet crepes, viennoiseries, savoury crepes, quiches, etc.

We also pride ourselves about our hot chocolate range that has become our signature dish over the years.
