Job description:
Oversee the overall operations and commercial success of Tanay Epic Parc Rainforest Camp. Responsible for managing both the Sales & Marketing and Camp Operations, ensuring seamless coordination between guest services, business development, and facility operations.
Leadership and Staff Supervision
· Directly oversee and support the Sales & Marketing Supervisor and Camp Operations Supervisor, ensuring full alignment between guest services, marketing efforts, and operations.
· Set clear goals, KPIs, and expectations for each department; conduct periodic performance reviews.
· Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, respect, and collaboration.
· Conduct regular check-ins, one-on-one sessions, and team meetings to maintain open communication and resolve operational or personnel issues.
· Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs, workshops, or mentoring.
· Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating new team members across departments.
Camp Operations Oversight
· Oversee the daily operation of all facilities, including accommodations, common areas, amenities, and activity spaces.
· Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and facility readiness standards across guest zones and staff areas.
· Work closely with the Camp Operations Supervisor to refine SOPs, streamline service delivery, and ensure efficient staffing.
· Ensure utilities, equipment, and camp infrastructure are functional; coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive checks.
· Establish emergency protocols for weather disturbances, guest injuries, or operational interruptions.
· Supervise the implementation of sustainability initiatives (e.g., waste segregation, energy saving, eco-friendly practices).
Sales, Marketing, and Guest Relations
· Guide the Sales & Marketing Supervisor in planning and executing seasonal campaigns, online promotions, and brand messaging.
· Oversee management of Online Travel Agencies (Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb), social media, and email marketing campaigns.
· Analyze guest data, booking trends, and market insights to adapt pricing strategies and promotional offers.
· Strengthen relationships with tour operators, group travel organizers, local partners, and influencers.
· Lead efforts to improve online reputation through proactive guest engagement and response management.
· Represent the camp in trade fairs, tourism boards, and industry networking events.
Financial and Resource Management
· Manage the overall camp budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and alignment with financial goals.
· Track daily revenues, occupancy, F&B sales, and activity bookings; identify performance gaps.
· Approve and monitor all purchasing activities; implement cost-effective procurement practices.
· Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.
· Implement systems to monitor usage of utilities, fuel, and consumables for better cost control.
· Coordinate with accounting/finance team for payroll, tax compliance, and vendor payments.
Guest Experience and Service Quality
· Maintain a strong on-ground presence during peak times, ensuring guest satisfaction and staff attentiveness.
· Respond to guest issues, complaints, or special requests with a problem-solving mindset and urgency.
· Conduct routine guest experience audits—check room readiness, service delivery, and ambiance.
· Develop and monitor guest satisfaction KPIs, including online reviews and internal survey scores.
· Design and implement guest engagement initiatives (e.g., evening bonfires, storytelling nights, local tours, cooking classes).
· Encourage a culture of "going the extra mile" in all guest touchpoints.
Planning, Reporting, and Strategic Development
· Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports on performance, feedback, and growth indicators.
· Identify opportunities for expanding services (e.g., wellness retreats, off-site excursions, themed packages).
· Collaborate with owners on long-term development plans, including new accommodation types, new amenities, or franchising opportunities.
· Stay updated with trends in glamping, eco-tourism, and sustainable hospitality to keep the camp innovative and competitive.
· Ensure all operations comply with DOLE, DOT, LGU, and DENR regulations, as well as health and safety mandates.
· Plan and oversee long-term upgrades and renovations in alignment with guest expectations and sustainability goals.
Perform other related duties and special tasks as assigned by management to support the overall operations and objectives of the camp.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
