Position Summary
Sattler College is seeking a dedicated and energetic Campus Operations Manager to help steward and maintain a welcoming, orderly, and functional environment for students, faculty, staff, and guests. This position is central to campus life—handling everything from events and facilities to student worker supervision and front-desk operations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, people-oriented environment, has strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and takes initiative to ensure that campus operations run efficiently and hospitably.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk: greet visitors, answer calls, and guide guests
- Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming campus environment
- Pick up mail, restock kitchen supplies, and coordinate coffee/hot water service daily
- Respond to ad hoc facility needs and perform light maintenance as necessary
- Rearrange rooms or equipment for classes or events
- Communicate with 100 Cambridge building security and maintenance teams
- Submit and track repair and facilities work orders
- Purchase and maintain non-IT physical assets (furniture, kitchen items, signage, etc.)
- Maintain relationships with vendors such as Amazon, Costco, Quench, and Prestige Foodservice
- Oversee recurring maintenance tasks (e.g., water filters, touch-up painting)
- Plan and coordinate small campus improvement projects
- Assist the Registrar with classroom and office room assignments
- Support onboarding of new employees with tours and space setup
- Coordinate logistics for campus events, including food ordering, room setup, signage, and cleanup
- Work with internal departments to confirm event details
- Communicate with building management for public events requiring security clearance or loading dock access
- Delegate setup and support tasks to campus student workers and verify completion
- Hire, train, and supervise Campus Coordinators (student workers)
- Create shift schedules and review performance mid-semester
- Ensure students understand and follow the Campus Coordinator Manual
- Conduct walkthroughs and spot checks to ensure task completion
- Manage supplies inventory and ensure restocking of key areas
- Maintain and enforce campus use policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing and submitting institutional reports such as the Clery Report in coordination with local authorities
- Contribute to operational systems improvement and documentation

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Experience working independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to enforce policies respectfully and consistently
- Intermediate computer skills (Google Workspace)
- Strong attention to detail and task follow-through
- Experience managing student workers or volunteers
- Prior experience in facilities, event coordination, or campus operations
- Familiarity with vendor communication and purchasing processes
- Experience with basic facilities maintenance or project coordination
