Captain Waiter

Primary Role:

The Captain Waiter oversees all aspects of the dining service operations including staff scheduling, training, setup, service, cleanliness, monitoring of tools and equipment, and ordering of supplies for dining.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage dining staff.

2. Assist in screening, interviewing, hiring and training of new staff.

3. Ensure staff’s compliance to work schedules.

4. Conduct regular rounds / inspections in the restaurant to determine whether proper hygiene and sanitation standards are met and maintained.

5. Ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.

6. Oversee order preparation in the pantry area, presentation, and dispatching to ensure adherence with food health and safety regulations.

7. Check on dining customers to inquire about food quality and service.

8. Monitor inventory and ensure that all supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.

9. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.

10. Coordinates clerical tasks or restaurant operations reports.

11. Monitoring cash and online/bank transactions and preparing or assisting cashier in daily bank remittances.

12. Entertain and resolve issues or customer complaint in a professional manner.

13. Organize and supervise other restaurant dining activities.

14. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php17,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
