Caregiver

We are looking for two (2) Caregivers-Level 4 to deliver care to residents at Wilson Carlile Village 562 Grey Street Hamilton. This is a full-time role to cover mainly morning (7AM - 3PM) or afternoon (3PM-11PM) shifts and night (11PM -7AM) shift if required.

A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature with the belief and ability to give your personal best is essential for this role.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL :

• Work closely with and support your colleagues
• Be responsible for on-going quality care outcomes for all residents in the facility, in line with their individually assessed requirements and ensuring Health and Disability Service standards, policies and prodecures are adhere to.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• First Aid Certificate
• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or equivalent New Zealand Qualification
• 12 months experience in aged residential care setting
• Use of mobility aids
• Manual handling competency
• Infection control competency
• Able to perform simple wound dressings
• Utilise and operate technology such as a mobile phone, call button systems, computers
• Good understanding and knowledge in Vcare, Medimap/Onechart applications
• Written and verbal communication skills

HOURS : Minimum guaranteed hours of 40 per week

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time

LOCATION : Wilson Carlile Village 562 Grey Street Hamilton

PAY : $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
