Duties

• Assist children with daily routines including feeding, dressing, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety.
• Support early childhood development by implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills.
• Provide specialized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding schedules, diapering, and soothing techniques.
• Engage in behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with families and educators to develop individualized care plans that meet each child's unique needs.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and environments to foster inclusion and participation.

Skills

• Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying with classroom or daycare settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively while creating a nurturing atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and team members.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable to ensure safety during emergencies.
• Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids.
