Caregiver/ Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support individuals in managing their behavior and emotions through effective behavior management techniques.
- Lift and transfer individuals using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals, including light housekeeping duties.
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their privacy and dignity at all times.
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings as required.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals with proper lifting techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of personal health information.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
