Caretaker/Cleaner

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Caretaker Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment across our private property while ensuring the space remains welcoming and undisturbed for customers and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty and replace bins regularly to maintain cleanliness.
• Carry out daily litter picking across designated areas.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the property remains tidy and secure.
• Politely engage with members of the public who are loitering or causing a disturbance and kindly ask them to leave the premises.
• In cases of non-compliance or ongoing issues, contact An Garda Síochána (police) as necessary.
• Report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs to management.
• Support any ad hoc cleaning or caretaking duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A calm and respectful approach when dealing with the public.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: €14.10 per hour
