Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter. This role requires a strong background in various construction and maintenance person tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a range of duties that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, renovations, and repairs.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately.
• Install drywall, trim & doors, flooring with precision.
• ensure a polished finish in all aspects of the renovation process.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
• Engage in carpentry and woodworking activities to create custom solutions.
• Assist in construction estimating for project planning and budgeting.
• Carry out various renovation installations as required (trim, doors, finishes)
• Participate in assembly tasks for manufactured components.
• Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding work while maintaining safety standards.

Skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
• Experience with framing, insulation, drywall, trim & doors, cabinet installation, flooring installation and painting.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.40-$34.87 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
