Carpenter/General Operative - Mobile Technician (Mid-South Dublin Area)

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our team with immediate start. The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance and / or carpentry with the ability to work independently across various residential units. The successful candidate will be responsible for adapting residential units for assisted living purposes in various locations mid to south Dublin area.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to various residential units to perform carpentry tasks
• To work effectively as part of the Building Fabric Mobile Team and overall Operations Team
• To be proactive in the role and highlight any requirements needed to complete all assigned tasks
• To undertake other such duties as might be reasonably assigned from time to time in consultation with the Operations Manager
• Willing and able to drive company vehicle, a full clean driving licence is required for the purposes of carrying out scheduled repairs, emergency reactive works when required
• To be vigilant to any Health, Safety & Welfare risks in the workplace and bring any concerns to the attention of your Operations Manager& Health & Safety Manager
• To participate in relevant training and development courses as agreed with your Manager
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of professionalism and care in sensitive situations for our clients
• High level of competency in building fabric repairs

Essential Criteria

• Extensive, provable, building maintenance experience
• Ability to work on own initiative both alone and as a member of a team
• Full, clean driving licence
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and innovative approach
• Commitment to providing the highest quality service and finish on any works undertaken
• On-site safety awareness
