Customer Service Associate / Cashier

Shifts:

• Part-time hours, evenings and weekends. Evening shifts end at 10:15pm.

Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Scan items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Promote and upsell products or services to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Take on the social responsibility of selling tobacco and lottery products following all provincial and federal regulations.
• Maintain a fully stocked and clean environment for customers.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 20lbs.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
