Cashier/Customer Service

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash accurately. A positive attitude and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for customers are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering phones.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and clean lobby area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Requirements
• Previous experience in a cashier or retail position is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong cash handling skills with the ability to perform retail math calculations accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
